Guatemalan RFA SHB EP Est. El Paraiso

Origin: Guatemala

Description: El Paraiso or "paridise" is the perfect name for the beautiful valley in hueheutenango, Guatemala. It is known around the world for producing exceptional coffee. Produced in rih volcanic soils with a near perfect temperate climate. This microclimate produces a coffee with gentle acidity and rounded body, with intense flavour characteristics. Blend this bean for a superior coffee or roast medium-dark for Single Origins.

Acidity: Medium

Body: Good, Rounded

Flavour: Good chocolate overtones with a gentle brightness. Nutty and fruity notes, silky round finish.

Roast: Medium - Dark

Screen Size/Grade: Scr 16/18 SHB

Process: Washed

Harvest Period: August-April

Cuban Lavado Turquino

Origin: Cuba

Description: This unique Cuban coffee has a softness and elegance that translates into a fantastic stand-alone espresso. Grown at an altitude around 1400-1700m above sea level on the Cuban Sierra Maestra resulting in a fine flavour profile which is low in acidity.

Acidity: Low - Medium

Body: Medium

Flavour: Cacao, Chocolate, Very smooth and soft cup characteristics, very elegant

Roast: Medium - Dark

Harvest Period: October

El Salvador SHG Special Prep

Origin: El Salvador

Description: Excellent sweetness and rich floral aromas abound in this mildly acidic 100% Arabica bean grown at high altitude - hence the SHG (Strictly Highly Grown) designation. 

Screen Size/Grade: Scr 16/17 + SHG

Acidity: Medium-High, Bright, Lively

Body: Medium

Flavour: Buttery fragrance of green, sweet, black cherry, marmalade, with notes of ripe plumbs

Roast: Medium - Medium dark

Harvest Period: July-December

Colombian Supremo 'Pitalo'

Origin: Colombia

Description: Located in the far south of Hulia, Pitalito is a renowned region of high quality coffee. The average farm size is slightly smaller than the Hulia average at 2 hectares, so the plants receive the complete personal attention needed for high quality coffee.

Screen size/Grade: Scr 18

Acidity: High, pronouned brightness

Body: Rounded, medium

Flavour: Berries, caramel with residual sweetness. rich and intense

Roast: Semi-dark, dark

Harvest Period: October - November - March

PNG Kimel Estate 'A' Grade

Origin: Papua New Guinea

Description: Kimel Produces a premium bean in a premium geographic location, well suited to coffee production. Altitude, soil and climate are perfect for coffee growing. Plantation production and management systems are amongst the best in this country, producing a premium and consistently great product. Ideal as a Single Origin cup or in quality espresso blends.

Acidity: Medium-good

Body: Light-Medium

Flavour: Chocolate and malty, honey sweetness.

Roast: Light-Medium

Harvest Period: April-September

Brazil Santos Scr 17/18 NY2 Fancy SS FC

Origin: Brazil

Description: Unwashed, stritly soft with a semi-full bodied sweet cup. Highly suitable in espresso blends due to its soft rounded cup.

Screen Size/Grade: 17/18 NY2, Fancy, Strictly Soft, Fine Cup

Acidity: Low - Medium

Body: Syrupy Soft

Flavour: Medium intensity with sweet finish

Roast: Medium - semi-dark

Harvest Period: April - August

Indian Monsoon Malabar AA

Origin: India

Description: This is a totally unique bean, sweet, musty, aggressive flavours, pungent, nutty roasted tones, and subtle caramel and tobacco notes achieved through exposure to the elements during the monsoon months. Exotic and complex, this is a great bean for espresso blending, building flavour profiles that are unique due to its addition.

Body: Medium - High

Flavour: Nutty, caramel, tobacco smokiness

Origin: Indonesia

Description: Low acidity, deep, intense and complex Sulawesi that stands alone as a superior Single Origin offering. Characteristics of tropical forest, combined with dark sugary syrupy body. Well balanced and offering a lot in the cup, to make for a perfect Single Origin espresso, or a dominant blend of high value.

Body: High, Bold

Flavour: Dark Chocolate and Caramel sugars, forest fruit
